Throughout Earth Month, Gabriela made an effort to reduce the amount of waste generated in her division’s office by buying hooks and towels for each employee in the office, educating others about the importance of sorting, and implemented centralized bins with better signage.

Debra is working on a team effort to help the budget office transition from printing temporary files to storing these files on a digital filing system, which has the potential to increase waste diversion in this division.

Takeo is working on getting a color printer in the Presidio Bldg 36, which would result in a decrease of staff driving to FOMA in order to print outreach materials and colorful flyers.

Amanita is working on a team effort to coordinate an NPS office supply staff exchange. This will encourage staff to bring in office supplies that are no longer being used and thus promote resource recovery within the park.
